🛍️ You can now sell products from your Shopify store on YouTube
Announcement
Hi creators!
If you meet our eligibility criteria and have a Shopify store, you can now link your accounts to sell your Shopify products right on your YouTube channel ✨ We are *super* excited to introduce this feature and for your fans to be able to buy your Shopify products wherever they see your content on YouTube. You can read more details in our blog post.
What is happening?
We are introducing a self-serve way for you to connect your Shopify store with your YouTube channel in just a few steps.
Why is this happening?
We want to give you an easy way to surface your Shopify products to YouTube’s billions of users. Once you connect your Shopify store, your products will become available for you to display on your videos and live streams. You’ll also unlock the Store tab on your channel homepage – your own storefront on YouTube, featuring the products you choose!
Who will see my Shopify products on YouTube?
Anyone watching your content in these eligible countries and regions.
Where will my Shopify products show up on my YouTube channel?
Under the Shopping tab in YouTube Studio, you can organize your products to display in a few ways:
- On videos, you can feature your products in the product section below your video and in end screens
- On live streams, you can tag products in your stream, pin them in live chat, and feature them in the product section below your stream
- On your channel homepage, you can feature products in your Store tab
How do I link my Shopify store with my YouTube channel?
Go to YouTube Studio, select Monetization in the left Menu, navigate to the Shopping tab, select Shopify as your store, and follow the prompts to set up YouTube Shopping via the Google channel app. You can find more detailed instructions here.
